3M Premium Air Filter

The cotton HVAC furnace filters provided by condo management are unacceptable. They do not filter the air coming in, and merely acting as a filter for your furnace so that it is not damaged by large specs of dust and dirt in the air. It actually impedes airflow in the system. You'll want one of these 3M Filtrete's, especially if you have pets or are sensitive to dirty air.

Ever since switching to these, I vacuume far less than I used to. It's also great at filtering different odors (from cooking food to perfumes). Unfortunately they don't make them at the 16x30 in used in this building, however the 16x25 in can fit well if sealed with a quality tape. A heavy duty tape is nessesary to force all airflow through the filter, and to seal any gaps that will cause noise when the fan is running.
